Before completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Business Enterprise at NMIT in August 2016, Wilna worked for 19 years in the corporate sector, acquiring a vast amount of practical experience and know-how.
During her time at Telkom, the largest telecoms supplier of South Africa, she worked in various positions and divisions, starting in the Debtors Control environment, and gradually working her way through the various financial sections within Telkom. The final position she held, related to International Contracts, Settlements, and Financial Management.
Wilna completed her undergraduate degree, through part-time study, at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specialising in Financial Management.
Wilna has owned and operated a successful business, supplying custom-made linen to various pre-schools and day-care centres in Pretoria.
Alongside her successful career, Wilna has raised a young family and supported a partner in his own corporate and business ventures in Real Estate and IT training.

Her personal interests are in self-sufficient living and sustainable practices and is a keen follower of gymnastics.
